Was disappointed with the quality of both games from the cheap plastic pieces to the spinner that does not spin and the flimsy board that looks like it will tear after a few uses. These games were not built to be used and last very long. They may have quality lessons in them but there is no quality in the actual making of them.
This is a really fun game! I remember playing the adult version as a kid with my uncle! I haven't played with my kids yet but after reading the instructions for the kid version I feel like I've already learned so much about finances and feel like I'm already approaching my life differently in terms of money.
As far as the quality though, the spinner is made of plastic and doesn't spin well. I have another board game called "Sneaky Squirrel" that also has a plastic spinner but it spins effortlessly. For the price of this game, I think they need to up the quality, maybe have the spinner on a metal bearing instead of plastic, or just a better mechanism. When I pluck the spinner it stops pretty soon and I feel like it's not a fair spin. Could just be my set though, not sure it anyone else had this issue.
Love it. And my kids love it!
I learned more practical financial lessons from this than Monopoly. Great game!
Instant fun for our family and we were quickly able to instill financial principles and have great discussions with our kids which range from 9-16. Highly recommended!
